These clips don't tell us anything
He's has good games against big teams and shit games against big teams.

The fact that he messed two twice in a row is a real issue though, I'm not under playing that.

Even though each of them has some context, he still messed up

just searched nico schlotterbeck mistakes, and the first thing that came up was how poor he was at the WC (flickball) & his first season at durtmond and mistakes he's made this season.

Wont post it, because it doesn't really prove anything, he's been good this season.

There is a difference between player making mistakes (which is usual and normal) and a player being way out of his league, clearly not belonging to the level he is at

Araujo is the latter. It has gone waaay past the point where we can say "all players make mistakes"

It happens from time to time, but Araujo has had too many of them every year he's been here.

He stinks for Uruguay too btw.

We can find a ton of konate & VVD just this season, and they were help at the high water mark.

He's getting the heat now, so someone went through & found all of his.

Can be done for every elite defender, if someone wants to make it

That video is odious. Why a Barca fan would make it to try and re-write history negatively for one of our players, God only knows. Smacks of throwing toys out of the pram.

Facts are he was a beast under Xavi and like every other defender who is a beast, he made the odd mistake. ( Van Dijk made plenty in his golden years. )

Araujo made a mistake against PSG and the fanbase overreacted massively. He then compounded that with a geriatric cameo Vs Inter. Then came the debacle at Chelsea.

He has been bad for a while now and almost certainly has no future here, but there is no need to change the facts. He was one of the Top 3 defenders in the world in Xavi's league title win.

That video is as disingenuous as me making a video cherry picking all his best moments in the last year and claiming he is world class.
