He just plays for the wrong club. At RM he wouldn't be sent off in any meaningful game. Could hack down opponents as he likes. Should I remind you that Casemiro went 10 years at RM with 0 straight red cards and only 2 sent-offs? While at United he got 2 straight reds within 1 year of joining and 4 sent-offs overall in just 3 years?

Mental health is not just a part of everyday life for society but sport & football as well. Naive to think anyone knows but him what he is going through and that should be respected, not ridiculed

This is what I was thinking, and some reports now is that he wasn't at his best state mentally before the Chelsea game.

It seems he had an issue and this game was just the last straw for him, or maybe he realised that he can't contribute while he is at this mental state.

I keep going back to this example, but I remember how Hleb admitted his failure in Barca was due to private issues that made him ignore football all together. Adriano is another clear example, after his dad's death he was completely different, etc. iirc, Bravo last few months here and while at City, there was reports of his kid having health issue, Lucho also took a break from NT without explanation at the time, and we later found out.

The list goes on, he could be soft player or whatever, but could be suffering something that we have no right to know. I just don't think he is someone who totally loses it after a red card.

If he is communicating with the club and they are ok with this decision, I am all good with it tbh.

It's the problem with social media where people can say whatever obscenity to players with zero consequences. Those keyboard warriors who wouldn't say shit in person because they would knocked the fuck out.
