He is fairly shit at anything other than if can dribble out from back.

Watching him, Araujo and Kounde try to pass ball out from back is excruciating.

Always been the way though and club do nothing about it.

It does make it harder on defenders, but it also sorts out the average from the good defenders.
Cucurella imo would shine under Flick - simply because he's a much better footballer than Balde will ever be. Balde was, is and will be overrated - on many of these football sites he's like top 5 lol. On what fucking merits??? Cucurella would run rings around Balde, it's not even a fair comparison.

He was the only one willing to take the ball. That takes courage. Plus for that.

He can run with the ball but often leads to absolutely nothing because he's so poor when it comes to passing to creating anything. That and he's a poor defender and can't read the game defensively.

This game really showed why Balde can't get a look in the Spain team. Cucurella on the opposing side was infinitely better defensively and offensively.

For me everything else with him is alright, but his crossing is unacceptable. We would benefit greatly if he could deliver a solid cross because he often gets in those positions and he has Lewa who is great at headers

Maybe they are lying to him, telling him "you are perfect, you are best in the world" and nobody dares to tell him he needs to fucking learn how to cross. He should be doing it every day in training
