They have not planned the squad well at all for the resources have to hand.

How can the squad be sitting with Casado as 4th best in only position he can play while Gerard is the back up LB.

The defence has been neglected too much.

Now people will blame Flick for this. How is he supposed to win a CL with an injury prone squad and no proper sporting plan. Laporta and Co just winging it now for 4 years.
The top squads in Europe have balanced squads. We just have an excess of midfielders.
