I think he will if he perform next year like the last 4 months here , but with Cucurella, Grimaldo, Carreras it's not easy to get in the team.

But Grimaldo, yes. I can't argue against that. Maybe its an age thingy, so he trusts an older wingback more.

Mendes is even more explosive than balde over short distances and maybe he's faster overall, I'm not sure.
Both have one thing in common, it's not about crossing with them, it's about skill and explosive pace to get into the box for a cut back or shot.
We will never get Mendes, but I rest peacefully knowing we have him.
He just needs to stay fit, I think if he was playing instead of cucu yesterday he would have an had impact.

One of the people that will benefit most from the Nico signing, if flick uses him more out wide and not in the same way he uses raphinha.
He doesn't have the be the entire Left wing anymore,he can play more like Mendes does for PSG, strategic runs forward, but obviously more forward that kounde who is more likely to form a back there and he'll have someone to play off
