Too lofty a comparison but Messi used to put defenders off balance with tiny delays and drops of shoulders etc and Roony has a bit of that.

Like Yamal he would benefit massively with a 'proper' RB that is comfortable on ball and over lapping.

Agree with jamlad here. He exceeded my expectations. Can easily replace Yamal and contribute. Has failed in some clutch moments, but done incredibly well for youngster from third tier league dropped in highly demanding Barca as sub to our superstar. Mature player that needs to build confidence.

why doesn't he get more minutes? why has ferran or anyone else been playing rw when yamal was injured? He just needs a bit more confidence to take on his man but his crosses and thru balls have been great.

He's still adapting. He was barely playing consistently as a starter for FCK so it's not like he 'only' had the ACL injury to overcome.

That said, he sure does look better than Yusuf Demir and Barca version of Trincao. Next step is to surpass Malcom.
