This is primarily a mistake by Сubarsi, who is once again extremely passive. Look at his position. During this entire episode, he barely moved! He pressed his hands to his ass and just stood there!

It's a first a COLOSSAL mistake by Kounde who loses Vinicius like an amateur, and turns his ass towards him.

xavi actually had the right idea playing kounde at cb and araujo at rb when facing pacy wingers. idk why that idea was abandoned with both of them being exposed in their respective positions

Say everything you want about Araujo. HE was never dribbed past by Vini. He OWNS him.
Seeing Kounde there makes me wanna explode. He looks capable of being dribbled past EVERY fck TIME Vini has the ball.

He is not good enough to be starting RB for Barca.

So we have a defensive fullback who is awful in all phases of attack and we tolerate it because he is "defensive"

Yet when this fullback faces an above average winger on 1v1 we should just call it a day

It's simplistic to not be able to see that every chance Madrid got in this game (apart from injury time penatly box heroics) was down to Vini owning Kounde
