Can't see a solid reason not to sell him in the summer now that maybe the hype around him isn't completely dead as it may very well be the case in the next summer after maybe another mediocre season for him here. They guy offers very little compared to expectations and the price paid in exchange for him. The money could be used for a proper RB or at least a better one.

He was a good signing for 55m euros in this market is a great price and he did a very good job for us filling in at RB, the defensive record speaks for itself.

We could have signed better but he is not as bad as people make out either.

Xavi prefers a defensive RB anyway and Kounde has good resale value should we wish to put him on the market.

I'll be willing to bet next season he'll be better than this one, which was pretty good considering he's playing out of position.

55m for what was considered one of the best young defenders in the world, you take that every time, if it doesn't work out, we will make our money back easily.

Move on from this magical RB people, we'll sign a RB & DM in the summer, we couldn't have done it all in one summer.

Koulibaly was thought as a cheap option to strengthen defense, many here didn't thought we can afford Kounde.
Zakaria was a free agent who is cheap and plays Dm position in times fan were desperate for new face, not sure how it is related to Kounde.
General consensus around Kounde signing was positive, most Barca fans wanted him.

Zakaria was a free agent who is cheap and plays Dm position in times fan were desperate for new face, not sure how it is related to Kounde.
General consensus around Kounde signing was positive, most Barca fans wanted him.

Koulibaly was never a cheap alternative (arguably the same cost as Kounde with wages+fee). It was either or and thankfully we signed Kounde.

I didn't relate Zakaria to Kounde, just remembered him. A wink from the past What a massive waste he would have been as well. Shows that just because fans are desperate for a new face the club shouldn't hop on bandwagons.

The "XYZ is cheap" argument never cuts it.
