The signing of the season. Plays better closer to their goal. Would prefer Chris-Frenkie behind him in the biggest games.

Although we do need him deeper now as well with both Pedri and Frenkie out.

Barca's next games are Atletico on sunday, Las Palmas 2 weeks later and Cadiz 2 weeks later again. First leg QF is the week before, so the schedule get's a bit better next couple of weeks. Let's hope he won't play much during international break.

I feel like he's much better as the most advanced of the midfield 3 these days. He was shite in the first half but was very good in the second.


When he plays deeper, he doesn't affect the games the same way and looks tired at times.


He should be playing as the advanced CM closest to the final third and look for G/As, pre-assists, quick interchanges and combinations with attackers and smart passes out to the flanks.


Great player. Always rated him since his Klopp days. Has that clutch gene in him.

True but with Frenkie and Pedri out we don't have anyone other than Gundo to play in that deeper role.

Would be great if we could clone him.

And tbf, if we would get him 3-4 years ago.

He is definitely not underrated.
Maybe underrated by jabronis in this forum
But everybody everywhere knows he is class.

We should have signed him a long time back when he left Dortmund.
Shame we only got him now.

At least it was for free.
