Most players would not be able to place it like that with that bounce. They would skyrocket it most likely.

The sum total of his attacking quality, is those floated crosses and passes he does inside the box.

That's his one and only move in the attacking 3rd.

The 2/3 times per season it works it looks class.

Fucking levels ahead in final third than likes of Casado and in one season got forward regularly had 15 goals/assists despite playing half that season in DM/CB positions.

Been far better in final third than likes of Gavi to date also despite playing further back for most of it.

He had most key passes/2nd highest xA and the only 'real' assist for a goal in the game.

Not most comfortable position but if played there across season would get knocking on 20 goals/assists a season fairly easily.

Not even just direct assists either. Makes a lot of passes over top or through that open up game and lead to a goal.

Don't think he was particularly good in the offensive role besides his work towards the end. Definitely like him better in the defensive role.

Also there were several attacks against us where he was simply nowhere to be found. As if he thought he didn't have to track back when playing the offensive role.

Barca needed that in a front four that in last few games is far too much all or nothing and losing all too much while lacking pressing.

I want to elaborate on that when I said productive it does not necessarily mean g/a. I know those are not staggering.

But he is a player with exceptional technique and one of the best decision-makers.
So I meant productive in terms of creating danger. Opponents know what he can do.

Thats not how it works and Barca should not have lost 5-2 and if Kounde/Pedri are giving away ball sloppily for chances that Girona break on that is not the fault of other players.

Massive assist and running until end counts.. despite how much folk want to ignore it and he was good overall.

Not a natural AM clearly but did his job and played well in clearly given tactical role to press from front and drift to right.

Was missed deeper though as Pedri/Casado was just a gaping chasm for Girona to break through and too many sloppy moments.
