20 - Dani Olmo

I prefer Fermin and even Raphinha on his spot.

He looked gassed and slow 2nd half of season. I had PTTS to forum de amigos snail football.

We should've really sold this guy to City, before they bought Cherki...now we're probably stuck with injuries and inconsistency for at least 3 more years, and to make matters worse, he will hinder Fermin's development.

Traitor.

I am a fan of Fermin but Olmo is Fermin before Fermin. Took the hard route and made it back.
If injuries avoid him this season he will be one of the important players.

I feel like barca is moving more towards having a more physical team and finally adapt to modern football. Olmo looks like 2010 type of player to me.

Not to mention injury prone.

Olmo still has a role to play.

Fermin’s first touch and ability to receive the ball under pressure can let him Down sometimes in big games.

Noticeably hindered/ruined our transitions on a few occasions in the games against Bayern and RM in fall for example. Even if he had decisive moments in the end.

Was clear once Olmo entered that we regained a lot of control and he helped us escape pressure.

Love Fermin tho and was disappointed in Olmo in the second half of the season

While I agree with this, Fermin is developing at a very fast rate. I believe this season we will get an even better player than we had last season. Just like last season he was significantly better than debut season

Fermin is 22, Olmo is 27 and has far more senior matches under his belt - this is normal for Lopez to have moments where his touch or precision on a pass can let him down. The good, is that his effort is always there - that engine is always running

Like some of you, Olmo let me down - less on his injuries but more on decision making & touch letting him down. This was the 'book' on him for me, fantastic skill set but very inconsistent

In the end, this is good for Barça to have options and competition at key positions - cream will rise to the top

If he can have consistent spells where he manages to perform in roughly 60-70 % of the season, this should allow for another season and so forth.

He is that good and vital for both us and NT, some of his touchwork and passing is straight David Silva-levels, but his fitness is his achilles heel. Hopefully FlickJuice can do wonders for him like it did for Pedri last season.
