Yeah, the extension this summer will be the easiest one. Going forward Barca will need to offer him a huge salary to stay. But that's still in the future and let's enjoy the next season first.
The club needs also to protect him. Having played over 4300 minutes + having the Euros in his legs before this season with 17 years is absolutely insane. Messi didn't reach 3000 with 21.
It'll be very difficult to sub him given his talent and impact on the pitch, but it's needed if the club wants a 10-15 years long worldclass career with some Ballon D'Ors.

There is no way to make it today as a winger with his (slow) pace.

He can be only a poor man's Raphinha or Trincao.

His only hope is turning into a creative midfielder who can also defend a lot.

This hype machine is obviously staged to keep fans happy and full of hope, offering 1-2 new potential gems every season.

And the weaker are the results of the first team, then papers & hype machine have to "create" more new gems from La Masia to keep the hype, hope and the brand alive.

I think he learnt from his mistake in the Inter Game. At the 90 odd minute mark, he had a chance to score, but he went for the corner. He was trying to waste time and all. At the same time in the Inter game, he was trying to score. If he was thinking of the Inter game and did this. Its already a massive improvement.

Fermin, being a hot head, got the ball and went for that goal. And thats my point. Young team with little experience, they will only improve.

I have high hopes for him. He shows maturity that a lot of players 10 years older don't show.

I wrote about this before but we cannot expect Yamal to be decisive in his mid thirties. He's already one of the world's best so the count already started. 15 years at the top should be reasonable to expect, like Messi, even if their starting ages were different.

Yes thats totally fine as long as he wins tons of trophies at Barca. He can do an Iniesta at that point. Regardless 15 years of Yamal is an ez sign off for me

With the tools he has currently it's reasonable I would say. Established player at young age, no motivation issues like Neymar, knows how to save energy during games.

Of course a lot has to click with injuries and off the pitch stuff. But given his young age I would be surprised if he plays for LA Galaxy already at 28.
