Would have been awesome if all these domestic players, captains and quite a few former ones (legends too) lowered their demands based off loyalty to their home club in difficult times but alas. Only few are really Barcelonistas to the core.

Yeah it's worth noting how Yamal is smart enough not to force his dribbles even though he has the skill and instead often just plays the smart and easy pass.

Very different profile players but I wager Lamine actually has a higher success rate from same age in terms of completed dribbles, pass completion % & the audacious move or touch

The high rate at which he makes the correct decision, I think we can comfortably say Leo wasn’t doing similar until he was 21 (maybe even 22/23)

Doesn’t guarantee anything in terms of Yamal’s trajectory of development but it is nevertheless remarkable precisely because of his age…and naturally, players are still developing their game & understanding of how/when to impose themselves on the game

Therefore, it‘s fairly straightforward that this can only improve with time

Vini is fast and persistent which leads him to dribble over and over again until he makes it work.

I've seen a lot of Madrid fans be critical of the way he does certain things, but gave him a pass because it somehow worked for awhile.
