In always underestimate Fermin and he always proves me wrong. I still don't think he's a Barca starter at CAM level and ever will be but this is not the right time to sell him. Let's say we really sell him now, what do we gain from it? Registrating some random kid Roony and Tek? Is it worth losing Fermin and destroying our depth for this season? Not for me. You guys really think Deco will find and seal a top CB in a couple of days if we get this money?

I would sell Casado, Olmo and Gavi before him if we had to sell one but we don't. Better to keep the team as it is even if we don't register Roony and Tek.

Look at the prices they pay for players. No way Fermin shouldn't cost 80m+ variables, if not 100m solid.

If they want to sell him because he was mostly an unheralded 3rd division call up that was never expected to do anything. Who may regress after this point to the mean. Ok I see that point. But what if he just keeps getting better?

Casado fits a similar story as that. Most thought he wouldn't make the 1st team at Barca B. He was at best a depth piece. But he did step up when we needed him. We could theoretically sell him as well since in reality he was never to relied on.

Maybe Barca should just pump up these cheap La Masia talents and move them on to EPL for 30-60m. I just think it's short sighted and could lead to many just leaving the club and feeling used.

If we want them to be ruthless like playing Football Manager then let's get that money while the iron is hot. I just hope Bernal and Toni/Dro are ready.

It has no sense from Fermin's point of view except if Chelsea offers him a bigger salary. He'll play in a worse team but with much more competition in his position. I would prefer competing with Olmo who will be injured half the time and Gavi who isn't suited for that position and a couple of kids like Dro and Toni than with Cole Palmer and Estevao.

He'll get a bigger salary than anywhere here at Barca if he's successfull anyway.
