He's been frustrating at times but he is regularly creating danger either from his passess or shots. Even in limited time like he had in Clasico.
Control of the ball leaves something to be desired but we can't be that lucky to produce another class starter in a year or two as we have been with Cuba or Lamine.

The difference between him and Olmo is, Fermin has that Hate in him. He knows how to hate. You look at the kid, and you know this guy hates. Same as Raph, Gavi.
You dont see that in Ohlno. Even though Olmo is a far superior player, he doesn't have that Hate in him.

And that's the difference. In a game, where you need to channel your inner hate, Fermin will always be a superior option to Olmo.

With that, my psychology quota for the year is finished. I'll see you next year. LOL

True. He has edge and that's good. In tough games it's needed, so you don't just crumble mentally.

He's still 21 it's not normal to expect players so young to be so consistent

I know what you are aiming at:

My 2 cents would be as a team you always strive to have a mixture of both types of players. That balance has been historically successful. Except when you are Argentina NT

Call me crazy, but I would start him vs Inter. He has an engine and presses well. Dani Olmo is the perfect super sub for this squad. Play Fermin for 70 mins and bring on Olmo after that. Olmo has a suprise factor in attack that can catch tired legs and minds off guard.

What if you are 3 goals down by the 70th minute? Of what use then is keeping your better player on the bench for 70 minutes and running a headless grafter for that long in a must-win match?

If we are 3 goals down by 70th minute then we are out. I fear Olmo is carrying some injury or simply can't handle the intensity of the game at this level. I rather have a player capable of running than Olmo who is playing like a p**sy

Olmo playing like a p*ssy.. heard it all.

Fermin did next to nothing when came on to impact game in way Olmo couldnt.

There are games where Fermin comes on and makes a difference. Last night wasnt one of them.
