Olmo is really behind him in the pecking order and will have to improve quite a bit to win it back IMHO

This is where Fermin has an advantage over Raphinha who is less precise in his dribbling & passing when he drops deep to be a passing outlet

It’ll be very interesting to see how Bernal fits into the tactics because he’s the prototypical pivot

I’m speaking about as a #10, Raphinha has been deployed there this pre-season and its been speculated he would used like Müller

I always think he hit his ceiling but he proves me wrong again and again. I'm still not sure if he has the potential to be a long term starter in Barca but right now he is one. Great job!

Fermin has these games where you think he can be a 20+ goals a season player. He gives you hope of becoming a Spanish Lampard.

He reminds me of Pedro status wise, obviously different positions, but has great shooting with both feet and hard working. Not a special player on his own but around good players he gets elevated and can bring something extra to the team.

I look forward to seeing him develop, that is if this isn't his ceiling. He still lacks some stuff to be a set starter for us today. He'll do more than fine in most games but it might not be enough in biggest games.
