15 - Andreas Christensen

Is there a chance he will stay fit next season or his injury is basically chronic at this point? If he is fit he starts imo. Very solid player.

The only reason I want a CB badly is because I don't think he can stay fit and for me Cubarsi is too raw to start big games.

Central defense area is by far the worst compartment imo, and by that I mean the CBs and keeper. Midfield and attack easily top 3.

Don't want to overrate him but this guy barely makes any big error when fit. Has a natural calm about him.
It's intriguing to watch how calm he plays considering he has stated that he has anxiety issues. I wouldn't be surprised if this is a factor on Flick not playing him in Milano. You have to count on all players not only physically, but mentally too.

At least he is aware of that and doesnt pretend to be a tough guy, unlike some that shit under pressure and make stupid mistakes. I'd rather trust flick to say to him that is okay if he does a blunder, our fire power upfront would make it up for that. Truth is that with him we would be in munich final 100%

Hope he stays injury-free next season.
I hope the club won't do him dirty and tries to push him out for ffp profit. He always behaved in an exemplary manner and was always there when he was needed. Didn't play for nearly a year and still was able to help us in the end.

So if we don't "push him out" then what do we do? Let him run down his contract. Or risk renewal knowing his injury history?

He's a (very) good player but sadly just not available enough to be seriously counted on. I still think if we get a 10-15m offer we should take it and let other club worry about him staying fit or not.

Shame we won't get Tah. Main reason I wanted him was durability, he's not been injured in last 7-8 seasons.

Next season he's gonna be what Inigo was this season. Redemption season loading...

Did the surgery fix the chronic issuse he had for years or will it continue? That's the main question. If we belive he could play as much as he did in Xavi's Champions season there is no chance we should sell him for peanuts like 15m€, we'll never get a better replecament for that kind of money. He's arguably the best CB this club has.

Well, Tah would be that replacement if we could sell AC and then give that money to him as a signing bonus.

But yeah, that won't happen so as said we should make a decision. But if we start the season with 4 CBs and Christensen is one of them then we should be prepared to be without him for most of the season. And with Inigo and Araujo having their own injury history we could quickly be in a situation where we have to play Eric as CB (he's better in other positions) or call up Kospo (well, who we are kidding, we know Hansi prefers Big Dom).

Tah isn't an option for us, he'll sign for Bayern or someone else months before our transfer window starts. I prefer Christensen anyway.

I don't think we would be able to sell him for 10M.

Araujo, on the other hand, can and should be sold.
