Always knew he'd be a brilliant transfer...and a pickup for free at that. Was so happy when we went for him and Madrid got Rudiger on higher wages, who just can't play in a 4 at the back, while Christensen has always been the perfect Barca CB prototype, even from his starting days at Chelsea I always liked him and wished for him to come here. His passing and progressive game has always been top notch, while he actually got better at defending and surprised me in that regard, very glad for that! I think he was always perfectly suited for an attacking, possession based team, and it shows.

Said it from day 1, he was so good for Denmark and Chelsea. Was getting called a bum etc by people I’m certain had never even seen him kick a ball.

He’s positionally spot on, reads the game well, is fast as fuck and can pass the ball well. Danish excellence.
