Because he is a kick the ball as hard as he can type of finisher. He doesn't really aim his shots much at all.

Sometimes it goes in and looks amazing as a result. ( Newcastle ).

The best medium for him in that instance was to shoot but to make sure he got the shot in target so that we had a chance to keep possession.

But he just doesn't really have that accurate finish in his armoury at all.
