1st - Rashford is one the highest impact players in our squad. 18G/A in 1650 minutes. So that's 1G/A every 90minutes. Only Raphinha & Lewa has a higher G/A per 90 minutes than Rashy in our squad. Mind you, this is his first year, and that too on loan. On top he is the 2nd highest minutes in our squad out of all the 6 forwards. So he is doing exactly the thing he was loaned for.

2nd - About roony , or others signing. You are making heavy assumption here. Where have I said i will shit all over, or show me a post where I have or inclined to do. All my point is give me a name that will cost around 15-17m per year ammortisation. I don't think we can get any with this level of impact.

I don't care about posters belief, I don't really remember who thinks what except a few exceptions. I'm here to talk about Barca, I don't care with who, I don't know any of you. My point is that signing Rashford would cost us around 130-150 mil€ and there are loads of players who will play better or at least equal for a fraction of that money, Roony is a good example but he plays in a position where he won't get minutes. Something similar for LW next season and invest all the funds we have towards defence and striker.

If we just go with the salary he has now (which I believe is high and I think we will try to reduce it) + the 30m buyout, it amounts to 100m in 5 years.

My point is for the past two summers, I haven't been able to find a LW that's cheaper than this in the long term.
Nusa was close, but we will have to fork out 60m+ for him. On top he is a bit injury prone.

LW market for a reliable player seems to be quite dire. It's either an unknown or injury prone player, or expensive.
Nico was the closest one. Not anymore.

Barca won't sign Rashford on 5 years contract, it hasn't happen for any player at his age even during renewals.

It will be either 3 or 4 years.

Also important that the headline about Rashford was misleading. Deco just met him, then speculation that so far the plan is to buy him.

It isn't that the decision is made and we will pay 30M for him for sure. It is was more of " hey, keep the good work and we will make this permanent."

But this fanbase was mad at a nice gesture in super cup when MATS made Araujo lift the cup, so it is understandable there is a panic over a click bait.

Well since you mention him someone like Nusa could be cheaper, younger, better and with much higher ceiling, maybe he would even replace Rapha in a couple of years. According to capology he earns 2 mil gross and even if we double that we would be better off than with Rashford

He has benn just spamming crosses, does not score goals...Dribbling is non existing and has work rate is low, we saw against RM that he is gassed after 2 sprints.

Would want him ahead of Rashy at this moment. Jury is still out.

That doesn't change the fact that Rashfords fee 30+ his current salary is too expensive.

Since he won't get those bonuses anyway, it is 17M salary then.

He has 2 years contract there. So, that is 34M remaining in contract. How much does he expect to get after that? Assuming he continues at Manu (or getting loaned out) for the next 2 years, killing all his value while collecting his pay cheque.

I can see a 13-15M deal for 3 or 4 years long contract being satisfactory for him.

If we can get Manu to accept around 20M, it will be less than 20M annual cost (salary + amortization) which is likely less than a new highly rated signing like Nusa (60M on 5 years amortization + at least 10M annual salary, most likely more).
