Ahh, Barcaforum we back. Was feeling quite stale here for a while. Finally, we got them 30pages an hour debate topic.

So, With all this going on, I have changed my mind.
Havent done this ever, but I will take the L if Rashy doesn't get 20 GA next season.

But every time he plays well, I will post this to remind you of your LLLLLL :

Basta yaaaaaaa, Cabron ! y Bona nit 🥂
One good performance and he starts to take the foot off the gas.

Starts getting comfortable, and that's where the bad habits start appearing, like coming late to training.

Barca will need to strongly consider this if it comes to the point of signing him permanently, since that mentality is what has been his Achilles heel in recent seasons.

Dude had a great game the other day, what you on about? BUT, if he keeps coming late for training every here and there than ship his ass.
For now, let's hope for the best and let the evidence on and off field speak for itself. So far he's done more on the pitch, for me anyway, than I thought he would - until now I would pick Rashy 9/10 times over Nico.

Tbf Flick's disciplinary methods are fair for any sportsman. Xavi used to fine players for being late, Flick hits them with benching.

My wild guess is Rashford stayed out late the night after Newcastle game.

Don't think so. It was like 2 minutes.
Raphinha and Kounde were late too last season and also benched.

Being late can happen to literally anybody. Even the most disciplined players in squad like Raphinha and Kounde. If it happens many times it will be a problem, but not for us - for him. Flick is very clear with this policy and he follows it without exceptions
If it was 2 minutes then it isn't a big deal.

Don't understand the notion that it's fine being 2 minutes late.

It's like a job interview, you don't want to come in to the interview right on time. Plan yourself to arrive a lot earlier so you don't get benched for something so simple.
Imo it's fine unless it keeps happening. Easy solution to repair Rashford's mistake: leave home 5 mins earlier.
