14 - Marcus Rashford

Will not throw anyone under a bus after 3 matches where he played less than 45 mins on average and when most of the team looked underwhelming.

Some signs of quality were there. He does have speed and can take on defenders.

Patience.

He did score 17x in a bang average UTD twice in his career. That's a decent tally. His overall numbers look nothing special though. Could be a decent impact sub and that's it. Something like Larsson,Ezquerro or Bojan Krkić.

Thought he was older though.

Bryan Zaragoza could have been a decent impact sub too. Much cheaper also. Spending 14M on a United reject is while we are in a tight situation with FFP and leaking defence is just silly very silly. Deco masterclass.

Not even him is good enough for club with 28 leagues and 5 champions league. Dude scored 1 goal on loan in 27 games as a winger. Before that he needed 5 games for one goal,in a not so small sample size.

Dude, after all these months of cribbing, you came up with Bryan Fucking Zaragoza, a player who scored a big number which amounts to single-digit goals in two seasons of LaLiga. On Top of being a Midget.

If that's who your LW backup would have been, I am happy with Rashford. And have stated it before, don't think we could do much better than him, albeit would have been perfect if he only costed 10m.

Bryan Zaragoza atleast knows how to beat his man. He aint a simple speed merchant like Rashy or even Adama Traore.( )Also much cheaper we might have even had budget left for a CB. But instead you chose to pay 14M for a United reject who cant even beat his man.

“I dont think we could have done better than Rashford” If Rashford was a great player United would have kept him.

Rashford is levels above Zaragoza is the reality.

Nowhere near good enough.

Been as well just promoting Virgili if want a wee player that can show some nice dribbles and little else.

Both Trashford and Rashy aint good enough, but one would have costed 3/4M one costs 14M for a single season.

And one is clearly the better player and the club were looking for someone more versatile and with pace in behind which team lacks.

Rashford may not pan out by Zaragoza would never have been considered even for that much cheaper and rightfully so.

We will have to see, until now Rashford in a Barca shirt hasnt even been better than post ACL Ansu Fati.

Rashford could fail.

But still Zaragoza was not at all what club looking for and doesnt make him a decent option.

If Rashford fails then argument would be better of without him not that it gives any credit to Zaragoza.

Fati never did his ACL but Rashford is better than him after knee injury and more uses.
