If they see Ballon d'or as somthing important (they do, I don't that much) they should learn from Madrid's mistake. They never had a clear favorite and the votes got lost between Jude, Vini and Carvajal.
Decide who the club supports internally and everybody should stand behind it. My personal bet would be Pedri as the most consistent and important player but I think Rapha's statistics would be crucial. If he scores/asists a lot in the Clasicos and CL matches he'll get it.
