Well yes and it deflected in that goal but still anyone getting the numbers will have moments like that would expect.

Clearly he has been top this season folk are just discussing what scenarios a sale would be entertained by Barca and why.

That moment only comes if others help defend and control the game also so not like he stepped up when others didnt and decided game.

Pedri was the better player that game.

The best player is still in balance is the crux of it.

With all three competitions still to be played for.

Raphinha has as good a case as anyone as currently stands.

All three of them have had big moments.

Yamal was the best of the three in the 4-0 win v Dortmund in QF for example.

Pedri was best of three when won away to Benfica with 10 men.

Pedri was best in Ateltico game away in Cup etc.

Some huge moments to come.

Btw, record without him and without Yamal is misleading. Raphinha missed very few important games this season, if any. We don't really know how Flick Barca would do with Raphinha our for a month for example.

Btw, we missed Yamal vs Atletico in the 1-2 loss and that game we created chances for fun. We have Pedri, Olmo, that are fine creators and passers. What we lack are intense players off the ball with great end product, Raphinha is the only player of that profile in the entire squad.

Without Raphinha we could very easily go back to a stale possession side where we look like dominating and in control but with no real bite. He is the one player that makes this Barca quite different to previous teams we have had.

A player like Messi in 2019 would have killed for someone like Raphinha by his side.

Exactly.. dont know.. but do know with Yamal.

But that run without Yamal the whole teams slumped in those games anway not just because he was missing.

That's why I rate him so much since he was signed, he's clutch and clutch doesn't always mean big games,which is why he went unappreciated until this season by most.

He just tends to show up when you need a goal, whether directly or indirectly.

Plus his off the ball work is insane.

I can't fault you or anyone for thinking he's our best player this season.

For me I can't split the 3.

The 3 are very different but on a very similar level this season. The remaining Clasicos and CL matches will determine who should win the Golden Ball for me.

Selling Rapha after this season is crazy, you don't change what it works and I'm sure Laporta and Deco don't plan to sell him for any offer under 200 mil.

I'm fine with putting it on the line in these last 5-6 big games. Whoever stands out more gets it. But most points go for a well taken goal or for an outstanding pass.

Like the pass that Pedri gave Lamine. Defense splitting pass creating a clear chance.

Reason I have Pedri and Lamine ahead is because, when it comes to team contribution, I value consistently performing throughout the game more than being clutch in a particural moment

For example against Benfica away Rapha was really bad in the first half, missed some easy chances and then had that very good game winning goal. Atletico away 2 asissts after a pretty bad game

Ofc it's nothing to complain about as he is the output man in this team but it still should be noted

Either way all 3 of them fundamental in whatever we achieve this season

If they start at 100m we can probably get them up to 120-130m.

Not saying we should, just looking at the business end of it.

Considering in the summer most would accept 50m, massive increase in his value that one has to look at objectively.

I value it completely different. It is tougher to add quality individually in clutch moments than to rely on Barca system for fluid ball circulation. Individual moments in clutch games probably is the pinaccle for me.

Now, if Pedri can come up with more elite final passes vs Madrid and Inter then it will change everything.
