11 - Raphinha

He's an asset we can sell for some, if not a lot, and we can definitely find someone more suited for us for fairly cheap. He lacks pace which is a big issue, especially for a team that creates very little organically by possession play. We need the through ball and inshallah type players (dumbele/adama) to create any danger. FIFA 21 tactics for a fifa level manager.

Also his decision making is atrocious. He almsot ALWAYS makes the wrong decision. Not sure who is worse him or balde in that respect.

Would love to hear some cheaper and better names

Raphina is a decent 50m forward. You get what you pay for unless you luck out on the talent route.

Raphinha will go as can get a fee for him and he does t bring what team needs… pace/dribbling etc. another year with him is another year of same issues.

Likes of Nico Williams would be much better suited to Barca front line.

Didn't Nico sign a new contract with Bilbao?
Yeah he did but rumoured to have 50m buy out. If he doesn’t have that or similar then he is stuck at Bilbao.
To be fair Bilbao are better set up side and a move for now may even not be best but it’s Barca..,

For 50m he is tempting. Could do well for us.

I agree that, unless some major turn of events happens this season, Raphinha is the best candidate for a sale in the summer.

Swap with Rashford and pray he gets his head screwed on.... wont happen but could suit both clubs.

He was best LW in Europe last season probably and obiously has that pace but would be too big a gamble probably as to what head space he would have.

Rashford in that LW role coming central would be class.. if he had head screwed on.

Both clubs also have FFP issues... inflated cost of 90m each could probably get away with.

Can't think of a worse signing for Barca than Nico for 50m. Same safe established mediocre player with absolutely no potential to become world class. Then we wonder why the team plays mediocre.

Forking out 50m for him while not stumping up less than half that for a young South American like Echeverri, who actually has a chance to become world class, is everything wrong with the present short termism transfer policy.

Barca need to be taking risks in the transfer market if they want to become a force again. High risk, high reward plays. Not playing it safe with likes of Nico. Played it safe with likes of Ferran, Raphinha, Kounde and Lewa and look how it turned out.

Nico is a good player.

Second in league for assists... top if include pens won... most dribbles in league and wide player with most chances created.

Barca are crying out for wide players than have pace, can dribble and create.

Been very good for Spain also.

If he is available for 50m then big clubs are coming for him this summer.

Knows the Barca players and connects well with them for Spain while homegrown status all adds to it.

Every time i saw Nico i thought he's very mediocre. Not that far from Ferran and Raph. They all are similar in a way. Can be decent enough players in good system, which we don't have, but will never be juggernauts that change games. Would be another flop at Barca.
