If we can keep Dembele, we should sell him. Same position for two fist line players doesn't work.
If we need to sell Dembele, keep him.
But we need to offload Ferran and sorry to say, probably fati too, but not yet for him. Need to see him with a full season recovered first.

With the money we could possibly cover one of the DM, CM, RB or LW positions.

I agree on Fati. Most of the people here hoped he could just have a season without injuries. So far so good.

Who would buy Fati now?
Top clubs like Real, Bayern, EPL teams don't need him since he can't play even for Barca.

He is especially slow for EPL paired with his injuries.

So, what is left?
Some clubs like Roma, Torino or maybe some midtable La Liga team.

Italians don't have more than 5-10m.
And midtable La Liga teams don't have money either.

So guys, how much do you think we would get for Fati?
And WHO would buy him, ruined by injuries?

He might even go on loans and end as released on free in 2-3 years.

Fati earns more than he is worth at this moment. We better hope he stays injury free and gets some form back or we might have another Umtiti.

Agree.

Slow, weak and fragile player playing LW.

He can't be big player with those attributes

No one of significance buys him now, that is why, our best bet is to keep him and hope he gradually goes back to a decent level. If that is the case we can sell. If he goes and becomes world class, he stays. But no more than 2023-2024 for me.

So, after several days of rumors that the board has notified LL about a possible sale at 50-55m next summer, we now learn that the X player to be sold is Raphinia

I understand that given his super meh performances so far, it makes sense to consider his sale
But it's ridiculous to think to sale Raphinia first, before selling FDJ

Shows that a complete lack of thought went into his signing if the club is already thinking about moving him on after less than 6 months. Most of what we have seen from Raphinha is things Xavi should already have known if he had seen him play previously - he isn't a touchline, 1v1 winger and has never been that. Expecting him to play that way then selling him because he can't demonstrates that Xavi has little idea of the player he's actually working with and just signed on impulse.

This is what happens when you have no transfer policy and technical directors and are just letting the manager pick whoever they want to sign with no meaningful input from others.

Quite a huge gaffe to sell club assets to buy players the club didn't even properly scout or analyse.

What does this "notify Laliga " even mean ? It's not like that the FPP are oral negotiations! If it's written encoded regulations and rules and what does "notify" means in that regard.. if barca are forced to sell to meet the regulations they will if not they won't so why "notify" in advance.. sounds like bullshit news to me.
