Also not sure what the referee was playing at on the penalty decision as it was a stone wall penalty and a second yellow.

Even when he's shit he had one sublime assist and should've had another...

Fabregas was the best player for Barca. Messi was relatively poor but gets 2 assists and really unlucky not to have got at least one penalty.

i disagree, messi had two moments of brilliance and a lot of other very poor moments. he was off his game tonight
cesc, for my money, was definitely the man of the match. great finish, into the game, made a lot of good runs, and was all over the field. his tracking back, positioning and pressure is getting loads better

No Fabregas made as many mistakes as Messi did too. Numerous give away's and all, if Cesc can be named motm Messi has as much shout too. Just an opinion though

as for the missed chance... whoever that defender was, he was QUICK. messi simply did not expect the defender to get to him so fast, he was smart too... went for messi's left side, brilliant work, messi couldn't do anything
