He is really struggling to score this season. He hasn't showed consistency in scoring yet but he always had a banger in store last season, but even those dried up.

Should've had two assists with better finishers. That dribble in the first half was sooo good, no other player itw does that.

Great game. 11 dribbles, 3 big chances created, 1 assist, 1 pk won but referee sucked and 1 wrongly disallowed goal.

But you know the standard for Yamal is ridiculous so it won't satisfy people.

I'd like to believe his shooting has been off due to his groin injury still affecting him. I don't see him getting as much power into his shots as earlier.

Shooting significantly affects the groin, as the powerful, dynamic motion involves intense adductor muscle use, increasing the risk of strains and athletic pubalgia (sports hernia), causing pain, tightness, and weakness, especially with sudden movements or improper technique.

He scored a top shelf banger against Mallorca in the first game of the season and in general he seemed to go for shots more before his injury.

He just doesn't know how to shoot. So far he got some top corner bangers but how many does he try to hit those few. He fluffs 3-4 shots every game that go nowhere. Then he misses 1v1s and sitters.
