10 - Lamine Yamal

Not worried. We tend to forget that he’s only 18, so inconsistency is completely normal. We also subconsciously compare him to Messi, which really clouds our judgment. No one will ever come close to Messi’s level of consistency. His game will mature naturally as he gets older.

I think mentally he has handled things tremendously considering how fast he bursted into the scene at such a young age and how much praise, pressure and bullshit he has been getting constantly from media. Many who have gotten even half of the attention as Yamal has have crumbled under the pressure.

It's still crazy to think about how he is still just 18 and will definately look like a different player in few years. Right now he is still extremely raw physically and is clearly trying to adjust to things such as getting marked by two or three players everytime he gets the ball. Obviously despite playing shit ton of football already, he lacks certain experience on the field which will automatically come to you when you have grinded the game professionally for a decade. Therefore I wouldn't worry if he sometimes has these Messi esque games and then in the next game he looks just average on the field despite showings few cool tricks. Consistency will come soon enough.

I know some Gen Z kids and Lamine is one them prime examples. They are mentally wired different. The problem is not the public pressure. As you see Lamine doesn't give a fuck about this. The problem is his head is somewhere else as - chasing skirt. You are an idiot, if you think he's going to marry this Instagram girl that drives him to training every morning.

I got faxed from above - remember how great Pique was before meeting Shakira?

Valid point. Think part that contributed to Messis greatness is that he's a typical autistic genius, who thinks only of his trade and how to better it and cared little for social life. He got tremendously lucky to have his childhood sweetheart as his wife and mother of his children and that woman seems to love him not for his money. Perfect scenario for quiet genius.

Yeah but thats normal in this generation and it will be worse from generation to generation. We're lucky to enjoyed the genius players in 90s and 2000s.

He's already at that Pique's league with that girl, Messi would be recovering and resting now. That makes the difference long term even if the criticism about Lamine's life is overblown for now.

Barcaman with his usual nonsense fueled by his racism. What a piece of shit

Be silent.

It's odd that some of my favorite ex players are Eto'o or Ronaldinho. Or that I like Rashford and Raphinha. Spare your low iq brain for more mundane tasks than debating.

Not that your name calling should bother anyone really. Nigger.

His shy social behavior is often confused with autism.

Messi is an introvert person, which is common for the Cancer zodiac, including myself. We don't like attention much, eye contact and such.

Most people confuse it with autism, because of the shy social behavior.
I dont think Messi is autistic, one of the core symptoms is bad motor coordination.

Which I have.

don't play stupid with me, you're racist as fuck. But it's no surprise, your pea sized brain posts are as dumb as your understanding of the game. Calling me nigger lmao, :ROFLMAO: I'm not even black.

You do realize black people find the 'nigger' word very insulting?

Nigga on the other hand is considered okay

If not racist then why find the need to use more insulting word for them?

Shyness and autism go hand to hand. Autism doesn't imply a person is "sick", it's just modus operandi of their character, which in this case imply ultra focused on one single thing. There are degrees of it and at harmless level it's this ultra focus, which often come in handy to hone your already incredible talent to next level.
