He’s been average to good at best last 5 games he’s played other than the cameo assist to Lewa.

No one is saying he’s not a good player. All we’re saying is he’s nowhere near best in world caliber at current showing.

You need to string several games to build up form and he relapsed right after coming back the last time. That is the 3 games he played. He was MOTM in all of the games before his first injury.

He's clearly not fit, he didn't offer anything in defense and little in attack

Nothing wrong with his play considering how out of rhythm he must be after these two injuries just after the season start. He still looks dangerous when he gets the ball and even managed to generate something today.

So far he has always had a good performance against Real, here's hoping that will continue.

Where are his goals? One pen vs Rayo? That's it? Overrated this season.

Unfortunately, I see the same pattern as with all club stars. Pampering and excuses.

I don't like how he is obstinate on dribbling and beating his man. This is not his playstyle.

He is trying to play like a Neymar, but his forte and what stood out from the very beginning watching him play is his balanced and mature style of play. He doesn't always have to go on a mazy run or win a 1v1, he needs to pick his moments and mix it with looking for the slick through ball pass, putting in a great cross, finding the open man, combining more, and influencing the attack with patience and variety.

I feel he is so much better when he plays like he is part of the team as opposed to someone who is forcibly meant to lead it with individual and solo actions, ala Neymar or Messi.
