The bolded part shit never works like that. Teams sometimes benefiting from laisure time is the same dime a dozen, when they actually suffer from it. Generally every coach would want their team to be on constant above average competitiveness mode using whatever methods. Neither being too rested or too exhausted is ever optimal.

Tbf, it's his father. I think Lamine is the type of kid who would be upset of his father if he says Dembouz deserved it. Maybe should have said sth like "Lamine deserved it too" instead of saying he is by far best player but maybe these are the words Lamine needs to be motivated for this season, like he wants to prove his father that he was right 😬
