He played with a smirk today... not a good look when not playing well.

Feell a bit for him having to play on front of the gash Kounde and teams have worked out to pressure him at source.

Laporta and Flick can't do shit. Player power means Yamal has all the power.

Clubs like PSG would take him instantly. Him and his dad have all the negotiating power over Laporta and the club.

You know it's true.
I mean at the same time, if he wants out, I don't think Barca will stand in his way if the transfer fee is 300 or 400m or whatever has been reported.

He is the star of the club, but he also isn't bigger than it.

Laporta is a glutton who can't control his stomach. He's also an enabler. His comment how only thing he didn't like about Lamine party is that he wasn't there.

As for Lamine he will escape to Instagram and his dad, gf and his entourage will pat him on the back and blame someone else.

Hope I'm wrong
You're not wrong but the harsh reality is that Laporta HAS TO back his star player publicly. He can't afford to piss him off.

Otherwise Yamal and his dad will be mad and then eventually the fans will turn on Laporta.

Yamal the star player has all the power today.

He didn't shit his pants and ended up being one of the best ball distributer for us tonight. He showed some promise playing more in the center. I think his playmaking abilities are a bit wasted as a winger, especially right now when he isn't the most explosive and physically ready. In the future I really would like to see him more in the center distributing the ball.
For brief moments he played in centre, he looked more lively as he had more option. Compared to being absolute isolated on the wing, with 2 players marking him all the time.
I don't think it's really too much about his attitude but more that he needs to learn to affect the game in different ways.

There will be times any winger can struggle with their marker for whatever reason, or have less of the ball, have less space to operate with the ball etc, that is where off ball movement, one touch play etc matters a lot.
He certainly needs to improve his off ball, run behind defense.

I think Flick should try to move him to centre sometimes.

Also, Messi has 40 G+A in Clasicos and never once talked shite about RM in public, at least not to the degree which Lamine did.

Lessons to be learned in humility. Yes, Spain/RM are bent but as the face of the Barca players, you can't be saying that (and if you do, you certainly can't dish out a DISASTERCLASS after it). Leave that to the media/poltiicans.

He's still clearly not fit. I have never seen so few 1vs1s or sprints from him. His speed today was comparable to a 37 year old and this is the result of his injury with the NT.

The most important thing here is, that he understands that his current form is the consequence of his own actions, starting at the NT playing with painkillers. He must understand, that in professional fooball, bad decisions have consequences that will drag on. If he understands and learns from it, then I'm glad it happened now and not later during more important phases of the season.
If he'll brush it off like shit happens, then it's bad. I guess we'll see.

If he's really mad at the club he'll do what Isak did to Newcastle. Player power rules in modern Football.
Why would he suddenly want to ditch his family, home, friends and decade long teammates to move into some shithole in other country?

Guy is happy to be here and he has to realize that the best times for this club is still ahead of us. It's almost impossible to beat teams with our signings in the last few years yet we have somehow managed to do that. Imagine what happens when we can spend 100 million in transfer window to actually fill gaps in our squad. Glory and trophies will come.

Also I'm sure his idol Neymar is the first one to call him not to repeat his mistakes and leave the club and go chase slightly bigger bag in PSG.

We have been asking him a lot. Maybe this is his limits let's see how it unfolds this season and if will be able to break the glass wall he ia currently facing

He needs to go back to playing his natural game.
Which is creating chances for others.
Forget about goals.
