Really needs to be shipped in summer. If anything to improve the overall level of the squad, let alone saving money on the salary.

Even the player knows it, he’ll be gone and hopefully he’ll consider a move to Portugal where many have recovered their careers

Barca really need to be more ruthless about players that are not good in general. It's been a problem at this club. It's simply the way it is when you are aiming to be the best. You don't have time to pamper players who aren't contributing.

You don't have to be mean or petty, but you do have to be firm. Think we can also rely on Flick on this as well.
The simple question to ask is .....how would barca be more ruthless?

Seeing his physical condition in that game was upsetting.

Only 22 years old. If this is the reality of what he is and its not rust then we should sell at any possible opportunity without playing him again because he will lose any buyers if he continues to play.

At this point, it will be difficult to sell him for free given his wages.

His last full season here under Xavi in 22/23 wasn't so bad either. He is regressing as he grows up, and its tough to watch that given what he was previously.

The best move here was to sell him after it became clear he was having serious injury problems. It is hard to do that, and Barca often don't sell players until their stock is low (unlike Madrid), but this is where we need clear eyed business sense, since his youth days it was obvious he is disposed to very serious physical problems and therefore he couldn't have a future here.

Even as early as the start of last season I imagine we would have had decent fees coming in, or at the very least loans from worse leagues where he could show his qualities comfortably. Instead we sent him to Brighton in the Premier League which exposed that he is physically done. A loan to Portugal, Turkey, Holland etc would have been a much better bet.

I imagine that the top teams in Portugal and Turkey are likely closed off unless we pay the majority of his wages, because those teams have better and cheaper players. In Galatasaray they have players like Morata, Osimhen, Sallai, Icardi etc. Even Besiktas have Rafa Silva, Immobile, Semih. So, even teams like this who might have been interested in him before will know he is not at their level anymore.
Mid table or relegation teams in the top5 leagues will not have the finances to want to sign him, and the big European giants outside the top5 leagues have better options available.

It will be very tough to move him without him showing better performances, essentially, but possibly that boat has sailed.

Don't know.

It is another Umtiti/Lenglet.
Lenglet can still play at a good level, and we managed to loan him to Atletico at least, there is no chance of this happening with Ansu.

There are no options to even loan him other than us paying 70 or 80% of the wages and then we have to work out which teams will even be interested in him that he would agree to go to.

Transfer is borderline impossible, again, unless we are agreeing to pay a significant part of his wages. No top5 league team will want to sign him at the moment due to wages, then, the European giants outside the top5 leagues like Benfica, Sporting, Porto, Gala, Fener, Besiktas, Ajax etc have better players.

It may be we need to cover all of his wages and send him to a much lower level where he can prove himself. As we are likely running out our contract with him anyway, the only chance of getting a deal for him is that his performances improve. We are a serious team now and we can't play him here, and I don't think any other good team will either, it may be that we need to send him much lower down, possibly even Segunda.

Besiktas were close to signing Fati in January, but, here, the Besiktas president explained that when they were knocked out of the Europa League playoff, Ansu's team called the deal off.

This guy will have no actual suitors, his demands compared to the reality are absolutely delusional.
