People who mention other players and club's smear campaign against them, miss one crucial difference:

These players (like FDJ in the past) did not do anything wrong, other than not wanting to go.
(of course that also can be wrong on several different ways depending on the case, but I will leave that aside now)

Stegen doesn't do that only. He has reached another tier already with his actions of retaliation against the club.
Using a medical consent against club's FFP policy is a whole new level, and something never done before.

He should be punished in an exemplary way, so no one else ever thinks of trying that in the future

The medical report is saying 4-5 months. That's the only reason he blocks it, because it would show his statement on IG about the 3 months were just bullshit to trigger Barca. If the medical report would support his statement, he wouldn't block it, he would wave it publicly like Mel Gibson the US flag in the movie "The Patriot". Barca has this report, so they know.

He hides it like someone who knows he's done for if it gets revealed. This alone should make you think, he is not in the right here.
