United want Dibu but had a loan offer rejected recently. Chelsea were also interested but idk. Perhaps a team will move for Mats late in the window.

Of course if he has that surgery we're stuck with him until January.

One of the last leeches.
Probably root of all of our problems.

Day when he will be out of club will be celebrated like 2015 season.

To bad this idiot has contract until 2028.

It's not an easy decision for Stegen. He is not playing if he stays. Not without some major voodoo.

So it's down to either:-
1) leave now, don't have the surgery and risk not being at the level for the world cup by performing injured, and hurt for a season.

2) stay, get surgery and seek a loan in January, where you will need recovery time and may not even be at the level to play second half season.

No club will sign him on loan if he is crocked. Only way he exits needing surgery is on a transfer, as an opportunity. And for that we run into the issues of deferral payments and what kind of wage a buyer would be willing to give to a guy who may be finished.

Leave where? No club would take him injured, considering his age and wages.

It would be similar to the Valdes situation. But in this case Stegen has a solid contract, so it's on his therms.

Well fuck, he's going to be a fucking headache even of the pitch now  Last Amigo, I have 0 hopes this will "end" any good for us - surgery or no surgery, probably nobody wants him and that's not really hard to understand.
Best case scenario is he gets his surgery now and than he won't be registered at least half of this season (which gives us FFP space for Rashford) - than next season somebody takes him off our hands for free covering at least like 70% of his salary.

Since he announced he will be out for three months we won’t be able to de-register him and use that to register other players.

Need to be minimum four months off.
