I did suspect Flick could be playing favourites but once I got reminded of that Tapalovic / Neuer thing it looked increasingly worse for Ter Stegen.

Agree. It is time for him to leave, but he has been here for 10 years now. he kinda deserved a better end then this.

I got a feeling he got the news the same way we did, from the news. This club need to learn to deal with stuff like this behind the scenes.

It’s still being reported he want to stay. It’s taken a bit out of context. The news is that his agent is talking to teams as a Plan B in case he changes his mind and accepts leaving, which would only be on loan with us paying a part of his salary.

Where is the route of him staying if he is at odds with the staff? Possibility was/is there if he showed up and trained like nothing happened. Refusing to train is basically self-destructing his NT career and whatever legacy he had left here.
I mean anything could happen but don't think he is that stubborn.

I think he will end up leaving, but I doubt it happens until very late in the window. He will try to dictate the terms for sure IMO.
