Well said, neither is Pena.
What about Garcia?
We don't even know

Its possible we have 0 too keepers.
Hopefully Garcia is a top keeper

We deserve it

Yeah, neither is Pena but Garcia has the chance to prove himself as a top GK and hopefully he'll do just that.

Ter Statue and Tek aren't top keepers.
At least Tek can make some saves that aren't 100% luck. Stegen had like 1 good season with us tbh, he still looked more like a fucking hockey keeper than a football keeper.
It is what it is. Football on the highest level is not a charity, fuck feelings and loyalty - you're either good enough or you get dropped. I don't have any feelings toward Stegen or Ansu for example - it's not kindergarten where everybody is a winner and there is solidarity in sports etc. Sure we should give some players that have a heart for us and played well for a long time more than 1 chance - have some patience. But Stegen has been meh from when he got here and I have 0 sympathy for him getting pushed out because he seems a little dense...

People thought getting rid of a football terrorist is easy?

They will put up a fight off the field that is every bit as great as their lack of fight on the field if not greater.

Besides, being a Barca player is the last bit of pride this guy has going for him. Won't let go of this easily.

It's also not surprising nobody of note wants him. If they had reasons to want him we wouldn't be trying to push him out.

Happens all the time. Teams force out ageing players.

Let's see if Steggy is still as keen about staying after not playing pre-season and getting booed at Gamper.

Plenty of clubs would want him once he is open to leaving. Napoli just signed and aged and shot De Bruyne for example after a dissapointing season. Monaco just signed Pogba. Etc.

This was always going to get ugly, it's how it always is with us these days.

Fans talk shit about fati, but he's literally never been a problem for us, when we say loan he accepts it, if not for his knees and we wanted to sell him, he would say the same.

Most of the other players who aren't masia, aren't going to do the club any favors.

Thing is it makes sense Stegs wants to stay. And inside the squad Frenkie had the same pressures from this board a few years back, stuck it out and cemented as starter.

From his sporting perspective Woj done OK last season. Gave away a ton of pens.

While it is no guarantee Garcia is a success. I personally, have my doubts.

So Stegen will think he was injured last year, but with Batman prep time, that he can get back to his best and fight for the 1.

The age is the difference here.

Frenkie was 26. Ter Stegen is 33.

True true.

For a goalkeeper 33 is a fine age though.

A buying club will be more concerned about if he can regain his level post long term injury than age.

That injury killed Victor Valdes career for example.
