Let's hope you are right. If he is not dropped we will see Stegen vs likes of Bayern, Madrid etc... big games Pena did more than fine in btw this season.

There was a time when i liked him, as a keeper. As soon the purple patch of cl glory ended with 4:0 in paris and 3:0 in turin very next season, shit started to unfold. Would never forget when our players played pes i think and when suarez said that this game is bullshit because german never goes out of the line on crosses. I mean they fucking joked about that and our sd, gk coach did absolutely nothing to fix that.

Yooo, i forgot that. Remember the bayern sf return leg when benatia(?) scored from corner in first 5 minutes, he was absolutely terrified. Luckily for him we had msn who were unplayable

Inaki is not a better GK than ter Stegen although he does have a spectacular save in him from time to time.

Kinda pointless to compare both anyway since neither should be anywhere near starting for a team with CL aspirations.

ter Stegen's condition to renew his contract in 2019/2020 or something was the club also keeping Jose Ramon de la Fuente with him.

Although both Xavi and Flick retained him as well. So not sure whether it's ter Stegen just being that influential that no new manager will get rid
of him or whether he's just very highly thought of across different regimes and managers.

I am interested in getting Aitor Iru from Bilbao. He made Kepa look like a world class GK and Bilbao now have 2 of the best GK in La liga, and both are homegrown.

The strange thing is that we actually have Toni Tapalovic on our staff as well. He was Neuer's goalkeeper coach for more than a decade, and when Hassan Salihamidzic decided to get rid of him Neuer threw a massive tantrum.

Neuer was pissed because he created a strong bond with tapalovic and croatia, even rakitic since gelsenkirchen days where rakitic and neuer played together. Aa a croatian im not that much familiar with his work, but being for more then a decade in bayern says a lot
