Best GK at club by far but risk to take him back in now although Scez been ropey himself.

Vallodolid wont be a certain cake walk if Barca rotate heavily.

Have seen Barca stutter v worse teams than that in cup etc and this is about all they have to play for now.

Risk have to take though for me.

Unfortunately, Sczeszny hasn't been convincing as of late. So, at the moment, it's like picking between two keepers that can't be trusted to save anything of note in clutch moments.

Everyone at club knows MATS is the far better GK and probably have league long won had he not got injured but to make change now from cold has risks

That in itself would show how differently they are viewed.

Last time MATS had a fit season he was player of year in Spain and best GK.

What exactly makes Ter Stegen a better GK than Szczesny? If anything they're same level lol

PR does wonders for your reputation. You can choke 10 seasons consecutively in the most prestigious competition and people will still rank you among the best if you've played for likes of Barca.

Anything a GK needs to do.

Easily the better GK to date and it isnt close.

Not a big deal that he starts this weekend.

If we didn't have salary cap issues and were serious we would move on from ter Stegen and probably Tek too this summer tbf, or at best keep only one of them until 2026.

Two old GKs where one of them keep getting injured. Neither any long-term solution.

If anything salary cap issues would make them more likely to try and move on from MATS if felt needed to be replaced.

The club's interest in him is well established. Maybe Tek retires if we win it all.

You can't move on from Mats because no top club would be after him. Why would he leave Barcelona to sign for fecking Gladbach or some tier B-C club in Germany. He is not a keeper other big clubs would want to sign. No chance.

Seems like it's a 25m buyout clause. Increases to 30m at the end of the window.
Not a bad deal imo.
