1 - Marc-Andre ter Stegen

Someone needs to give Tebas a call and ask him how his draconian FFP rules are ' protecting and empowering Spanish clubs '.

As always, they exist as nothing more but to massage his ego, and to send the odd present to his side chick Real Madrid.

Farcical situation that makes the club, the league and the player look like a joke.

Nobody is a winner from this.

Maybe Laporta could since he votes for him.

MATS was never a hero though.

I think you are going a bit too far. Ter Stegen will have a terrible exit, but it should not cloud his overall legacy at Barca.

- Arguably the GOAT goalkeeper in Barca history
- Was a key player in our 2015 Champions League run
- Conceded 13 La Liga goals in 34 games when we mathematically secured the league in 2022-23 season
- Had countless crucial saves, stepped up in many big matches.

Ter Stegen was definitely not a bum goalkeeper in his prime.

We won 3 out of 3 league titles when we had other keepers than Stegen starting for us in the last 10 years while he was here. 2 out of 2 with Bravo and 1 out of 1 with Pena and Tek.

3 out of 4 if you count last season when he and Pena were both shite.

So much for Stegen being a big factor in winning the league. Best league seasons were 2014-15 and this one, while he was a sub or injured.

This is the math. There were 3 seasons where Stegen didn't play much in the league, and in all 3 we won the title. 2014-15, 2015-16, and 2024-2025.

This simply means he wasn't a decisive factor. The team did just as well or better with other keepers starting the majority of the matches in the league.

His shenanigans aside:

He wasn't a bum in his prime, but not a hero or a GOAT goalkeeper either.

He had an awesome 2022-23 season and a good CL run in 2015.

For the rest of his 8 seasons here, there's not much to give him a hero or GOAT label.

CL run in 2015 is the easiest run ever for any keeper. Barely had much to do.

Haven't seen another keeper since Stegen in 2015 to face 0 shots on target in a CL semi first leg.

You're welcome
Did he have saves in the final?

The other semi against bayern he let in easy goals.

He’s a good keeper. But just shy of what a top team needs and mentally a liability. His skills on ball heavily overrated.

Looks like I was wrong and the player really has that right and no contractual obligations to share this report? Then it's a loophole, that should never have existed in the first place. This is not professional, if LaLiga needs this report and you can't deliver it, if the player simply refuses? What a shitshow.

If this is true and MAtS decided to go to war with Barca for being salty, he'll lose in the end. Barca can end his career and Garcia will get registered anyways. Can't believe this will end so ugly. What an idiot in the end. The true character of some people only show when the relationship gets complicated. Obviously based on the reports are true.

If yes, then fuck his career and him now. Can't believe I actually defended him.

But who do we really blame.

Would it have even ended up like this if when his wife asked for a personal trainer, he just recommended Dirk Kuyt.
