It seems he tried to pressure the club again, just like with Bravo but now he's not some young talent but a proven looser so it backfired.

Making ultimatums to the club, demanding things as if he's the president, putting himself above the club... nothing we are not used to from his side
And if it was some great goalkeeper doing all this maybe you would say alright well we can't afford to lose him. But it's literally the worst CL keeper in the last decade and someone who was hugging the bench of his national team until Neuer left at like 40 years old. Whoever we bring the chances he turns out better than MATS are almost hundred percent
This guy is shameless no idea why they keep tolerating his bullshit. He probably thinks he's some kind of a legend and club owes him something. Peak delusion

If I remember correctly, there were talks he deferred some money to the 2nd part of his contract (for which he also agreed to take a pay cut)
