Have to wonder if it was Stegen that was the mole.
prolly not. Everyone is assuming it is a player, but quite possibly it isn’t even.

Otherwise the tweet would likely read “which of the players” instead of “who”

If you look at the last 5–6 seasons, he made a huge contribution when we won La Liga in the 2022–2023 season, but his performances in the other seasons were quite average. There are metrics that reflect a goalkeeper’s performance more objectively, but if you look at the ratio of goals conceded to Barcelona’s xGa over the past 5–6 years, it was almost always 1 to 1 — except for the 2022–2023 season.

I won't even comment on his performances in the Champions League knockout stages.

Age plus knee problems — it's time to go.

According to 'Fichajes.net', Barça hasn't ruled out the possibility of Ter Stegen leaving , and given this situation, Manchester City is very interested. Guardiola would consider him a high-quality reinforcement in goal, with years of experience and a good ball-striking ability.

Would be incredible if true.

No way. But if it'd happen, Pep would eternally be considered the greatest cules of all times.

Btw, don't think Joan Garcia signs only to be loaned to other club. That's like receiving bad signals from Barca if your future club doesn't think you're good enough to compete for a starting position at the moment.

He had two truly very good or great seasons. In 11 years.

2018/19 and 2022/23 as already mentioned.

Talking about strictly in the league as he’s pretty much always been average or mediocre in Europe.

Imagine if Stegen stays to collects his wage like Ansu Fati did . How much is he earning per year?

I'd imagine he could get a decent move if he was interested in moving.

22/23 showed that with a defensive block, he can still be good.

Now in defence of Stegs, how bad was Frenkie while he was overcoming his ankle for Flick?

And how good was he once he was fully healed.

I'd say that as unpopular as Stegs is around here, that he can probably be pretty decent once fully match fit and comfortable.

Defensive blocks are nowhere to be found in Bundesliga though. That would be his most likely destination. Although I suppose City can have a competition for the starting position to reward who fucks up less between Ederson and Stegen. Should be super-fun.

Garcia could be loan, same way many clubs who bought a keeper for the future as done.

Liverpool being the most recent
Have to think Deco/Flick promised him the number 1 spot to come.

Don't think he would bite if we told him we are going to loan you out first.
