Yeah, there's a chance the staff saw the shocking level of Stegen and the goals he conceded vs Valladolid and Villareal, and decided Pena would give us more of a chance to end the season with a win.

Considering we won the game, kept a clean sheet, and Pena did his job very well, their decision was validated big time. Fact is, Stegen only played 2 games in 2025. In one he conceded a comical goal and needed the starters vs relegated Valladolid to save us, and the other was the only league loss of this calendar year to date.
