I donno if it's just me, but to me GKs usually appear shorter than they actually are. Donno if it's because of the giant net behind them or anything else. I don't think there should be a reason the details of his height are false. He looks definitely taller than Valdes to me and the difference is only 6 cm.

Possibly true. I just found this:

Zubi is listed as 187 cm. Bravo is defo smaller than ter Stegen (cross comparison with Zubi ) and he's listed as 185 cm. Still looks more 187 cm-ish than 189 cm although we don't see what shoes Zubi is wearing and whether they are standing exactly on the same ground. No doubt bigger than Valdes though.

Need some team photos to compare his height with other players. I don't think he's 189 cm.

You can see him walking next to Bartra in this video who is listed at 183cm. He looks to be a little taller. You can't see their shoes though.
