Manchester United interim boss Ralf Rangnick says it is "absolutely logical" to have an "an expert for the brain" among his coaching staff after appointing a sports psychologist. "For me it is absolutely logical," said Rangnick. "This is not about putting them on the red sofa and holding hands with players. "If you have special coaches for goalkeeping, physical education, strikers, fitness, you should also have an expert for the brain."

Not sure if we already did but it would be great if Xavi could get one for our mental midgets. Always seemed like an area we needed help in.

It's not only the mental aspect, it's the physical aspect. La Masia needs to look at stronger, faster players. Sick of seeing these Denis Suarez types coming through the ranks. All we do is produce midfielders. We need to start producing players at other positions too. When was the last time La Masia produced a proper number 9??

Is this some bait post to allow you to write a wall about how Fati will never be physical or fast enough to be number 9?

Not much to see here.

The whole club needs to transform. Hopefully Xavi is a good start, but it's impossible to tell now. Next few transfer windows will be decisive. Bayern in 2008 might be a good comparison.

An interesting question: whether our style/system/DNA is outdated?
Bayern vs Barcelona in the last 10 years:

2013: 4:0, 3:0
2015: 0:3, 3:2
2020: 8:2
2022: 3:0, 3:0

7 matches:
6 wins for Bayern
1 win for Barca

Goals difference:
24:7

Interesting.
Coincidence?

Fuck off. Just take one fucking look at the team. Jesus, it's not that difficult.

Look at which team?
The one who was demolished by Bayern in 2013, 2020 or 2022?

The only time when we won against Bayern is when they had Barca DNA in their ranks because they were coached by Pep.
So, to some extent, in the last 10 years, Barca DNA lost every single time :pep:

We lost in 2013 and won in 2015.

In 2020 and 2022 the teams are not comparable in any way.
Style of play or philosophy has nothing t do with it.
Intellectually dishonest to support your belief.

We really need some players in Jan to finish top 4.

Anyway its a rebuild, Europa league will humble us and hopefully some players fuck off immediately.

I'll be honest.
I am baffled to see how many fans still believe that there is nothing wrong with Barca DNA in 2022 and how our only problem is a lack of quality players currently.

You guys believe that we would play well and win titles in 2022 with better players.

Insane

I know you have your little narrative, but you can't be that thick.

You're welcome
We need to give him time and be patience. We have bums in the team and lack in attack. Not much a trainer can do.

Barçapocalypse NOW!
He shouldn't have taken the job... It doesn't matter if he's a good coach or not, he was destined to fail, just like anyone else who came here, just blew his chance of being a successful coach here...
