Like 5 days ago Pedri had more Instagram followers than Gavi, now he has 1m followers less. Damn people loving Gavi
A lot of social media fame comes from looks and lifestyle, not from a pure footballing skills.
Cr7 has tons more followers than Messi.
Beckham is miles more popular than Rooney, Gerard or Lampard.
In Gavi vs Pedri, Pedri looks more like a choirboy while Gavi is more handsome, with some bad boy behavior and he is closer to a pop star image.
It isn't about him being a better on the ball than Pedri.
It's like Hollywood actors or singers.
The most popular singer is RARELY the one with the most beautiful voice or the most technical performances.
The most popular are the ones with the optimal mixture of some talent, good looks, youth, being interesting to a teen population of fans/followers, being sexy, something interesting around their looks/personality/behavior.
One more time, Gavi fits this popularity criteria way more than Pedri.

Care to say why folk cant disagree with a journalist who gives Busi a 7 but you can disgaree with that journlist on Pedri getting a higher rating?
