It's fine if at least one of the full-backs is not camping out wide and advanced like a winger almost, because we then have better balance

He is inconsistent, understandably and probably due to age.
He has great attacking flair and dribbling but he kind of sucks at fullback fundamentals. Knowing when to overlap, when to come inside, when to cross and when to attack the space. He just relies on his trickery and footwork, and when it doesn't come off he loses the ball. Needs coaching to instruct him about those fundamentals, otherwise he won't make it at the highest level
