If Bayern get de Ligt ahead of Chelsea fully expect them to go all-in for Kounde in the coming days.

Just stop with this Kounde at RB lineups, seriously. And Araujo too for that matter. If we're buying one of the most promising center backs in the world (and already having one here), it's not so we could chuck one of them at RB. And Araujo and Kounde being strictly being RCB to the point of even playing RB is the the exact reason I don't want us to buy Kounde. They both need to play CB, and one of them even having to totally adjust to playing LCB seems like a waste. We have Christensen for that, the perfect first back up, who is right footed, but is also used to playing LCB from Chelsea, so he can play RCB and LCB equally well. And even Garcia as the 4th option seems to play well as the LCB, if needed.

Get Koulibaly for a few years, who is available for just 30M and is used for years to playing LCB, and as a bonus is a proper tank and a great leader our defense desperately needs. He will do just fine until we can find the next great left footed CB talent (we have the first option and we're most likely buying Kaiky from Santos in a couple of years, or if Marmol is ever ready for this level, or some other new talent that pops up in the meantime).

Or go for a great leftie to partner up with Araujo now, like Lisandro Martinez, who is also available for less than Kounde (but sadly we're probably already too late with him, with both United and Arsenal already sending offers for him, and apparently his dream now is to play in the PL).

Sport linking us to Badiashile from Monaco never seen him play, but he's a LCB that is liked by many apparently.

Anyone every seen him?

Hasn't been mentioned here but according to Sport the Sporting department are interested in Badiashile.

Edit. Ate an apple and left the screen ideal. JamRock beat me to it.

Badiashile has always been a very highly rated prospect. Has great physicality. Great in the air and defends spaces well too due to his speed.

Decent on the ball, got a good ping on him.

Now the part people are more interested about: the negatives....

His defensive positioning is off at times and struggles to move quickly within short spaces.

He has a massive weakness against quick attackers cutting inside at pace. Someone like Robben would put him on his arse 10 out of 10 times.

Despite his great top speed, he's slow on the turn.

Has potential brainfarts in him where he tries to get way too close to his marker. Concentration and anticipation issues.

None of that matters.

How quick can he learn Catalan and does he advance from the defence in a straight line or can he move diagonally?

Bordeaux filing for bankruptcy and disappearing as a professionnal team might help Barca (or any potential buyer) in a way. They were supposed to get 10% (or 20%, depending on sources) of the transfer. Depending on the contract and on the timing, if Sevilla can avoid paying them one way or another, they might be more keen on selling (or they might just sell anyway and get an even bigger price all for themselves, who knows).

Damn, feel bad for Bordeaux fans. What exactly happened?

Maybe Zidane can help them, in the recent 50th birthday interview he did say he'd like to be 'a leader of a project' be it France NT or some form of a senior role at a football club.
