Lionel Messi - v7

Barca finished 17 points ahead of 5th last season, now, its entirely possible that 5th place will end up with more points this season than last, but all things being equal, you think Barcelona wont be able to scrape together 65 or so points to get CL-spot?

What is your point and how is that relevant?

Barca had one of worst start to season in history and most turbulent seasons for variety of reasons and had massive disruption and unhappy Messi and barely a pre season.

Doesnt answer question... what 5 teams would finish above a Messi less Barca?

if it was a powerplay though, how would it work.. aren't these the two scenarios:

a) Tebas believes in the statement, assumes Messi has already decided to leave, which means it's out of his hands. Does nothing.
b) Tebas doesn't believe the statemtent. Calls the bluff, does nothing.

One place we know he isn't going is Man City as they can't afford a striker. Pep has already explained that they are broke, more than you believe. Those poor lot will be relying on loans and the academy this season.

Messi is very affected by his non-continuity at Bar?a. The club has informed the player's father and agent, Jorge Messi, saying that it was impossible to register him. At the moment, the Argentine has no open negotiations with any other club. [rac1]

I really believe in the conspiracy that laporta Plan was in the beginning to get rid of Messi and save Barca financially

So,.. Every second something else come out and it seems more and more that this is some kind of pressure on Tebas from Laporta.

Should wait a couple of days.

We need Haaland more than ever. ?150 M for him is nothing.

If Haaland has any sense he will head for EPL.

La Liga is dying and he would soon regret moving to Real or Barca and pumping the absolute dross there is in vast majority of that league week in week out.

Worst standard than France, Italy, Germany from middle to bottom and getting picked clean every season.

I believe the opposite. Laporta is trying to use Messi to negotiate some things with Tebas, who won't allow another star to leave easily.

Yeah let's get rid of our best player while keeping deadwood on big money. Don't think Laporta is that big of an idiot.
