    Sergio Agüero

Diego Costa was the main striker for 2013-14 Atletico and scored 27 goals in 35 games. Villa's role was nothing like Suarez. It's like comparing apple and banana.
  2. El Flaco

    Erling Haaland

That only applies if Haaland leaves BVB as a free agent, which is unlikely to happen.

    9 - Robert Lewandowski

It's a list of players from Europe's top 5 leagues with most non-penalty goals in all competition. Lewy has 34 goals for Bayern this season, although it's 42 goals with penalties added.
  5. El Flaco

    Karim Benzema

Comparison between Benzema & Cristiano from 2018-19 onwards (since CR7 went to Juve) Penalty stats: Benzema took 8 penalties in this time frame, all in La Liga. Benzema goals without penalties: 72 Cristiano took 28 penalties in this time frame, 22 in Serie A, 2 in the Coppa Italia, and 4...

    9 - Robert Lewandowski

Players with most goals (excluding penalties) from Europe’s big 5 leagues this season: - Robert Lewandowski: 34 goals (8 penalty goals) - Erling Braut Haaland: 31 goals (2 penalty goals) - Karim Benzema: 23 goals (0 penalty goals) - Cristiano Ronaldo: 22 goals (8 penalty goals) - Harry...
  7. El Flaco

    Karim Benzema

Benzema is on fire, he could've won a couple of Pichichis if he took penalties & free-kicks to inflate his goal tally. Yup, which is bad news :( Benzema gets two weeks of rest without risking injury/fatigue during every international breaks. It's unfair to other teams lol.
  8. El Flaco

    Erling Haaland

With Haaland's €75m release clause being activated next year, I think Dortmund have to sell him this summer. His value is all-time high and most top clubs would love having top 2 striker in the world throughout 2020s. I think Dortmund have the leverage to demand €150-200m or even more. Top...

    Cheers
  10. El Flaco

    Erling Haaland

He probably changed his name to Haaland to sound more anglicized and better for sponsorship / marketing opportunities.
  11. El Flaco

    Bundesliga

That's just sign of winning menality. Dortmund drew and Haaland being pissed despite scoring 2 goals proves he's a team player. I wouldn't be happy myself if my team lost/drew while I scored 5 goals.
  12. El Flaco

    Erling Haaland

33 year old Benzema is still excellent and isn't showing any signs of decline. They need better wingers to support him. Madrid wouldn't sign Haaaland with 25 years old CR7 and Benzema. That team was built around CR7.
  13. El Flaco

    Bundesliga

People used the same rhetoric during Pep-era when we destroyed LaLiga teams.
  14. El Flaco

    Bundesliga

Bayern would obliterate most LaLiga teams, they're just crazy good.
  15. El Flaco

    Erling Haaland

Most top teams don't use a 2 striker formation. In Real Madrid's case, it limits control of the midfield, also lack of width becomes an issue due to absence of wingers. I don't see the point of them accommodating two strikers while weakening the rest of the team.
  16. El Flaco

    Erling Haaland

Real Madrid's attack would still be terrible with Haaland as only good scorer up-front. Benzema and Mbappe makes them way, way better. And don't forget Real Madrid can't afford to pay ridicioulus wages to both Mbappe & Haaland without financial problems.
  17. El Flaco

    Erling Haaland

Yeah, I suspect that as well  The narrative of his dad playing for City means nothing. He was there for only 3 seasons & played 50 games. City also terminated his contract early. Benzema definitely gets a contract renewal for 1 more year. He's awesome and isn't slowing down. The likes...
  18. El Flaco

    Erling Haaland

Man City putting up on a show could convince Haaland to join them over everyone else.
  19. El Flaco

    Champions League

Suarez's 2013-14 season is overrated. 22/31 goals were against bottom 10 Premier League teams and Sturridge contibuted more points for Liverpool than Suarez did. There's a legitimate case on how Benzema carry-job in 2018-19 season is more impressive than Suarez's 2013-14 campaign...

    Champions League

I actually don't mind if the current iteration of Real Madrid wins Champions League before their aging players are gone. That would put a huge dent in Cristiano's legacy.
